Training Events and Material
One of the core objectives of Data without Boundaries was to promote the use of integrated official statistics in Europe. The DwB project seeked to inform the research community on possibilities for application and the potential for social enquiry of official European microdata.
To this aim a series of 3-day training courses were hosted, which informed interested researchers on available data sources and the legal requirements of access. Additionally each training course focused on an individual dataset such as European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC), European Union Labour Force Survey (LFS) or European Adult Education Survey (AES) and provided an in-depth look at the dataset with sample applications. In sum there were six training courses.
